Dawes Civic Reynolds 500

This Dawes civic has been fully rebuilt. The bike rides fantastically and is a great option for a rider looking for mainly road cycling. It would also be a great bike for commuting, because it is fairly efficient. The tyres are 700cx23c which is quite thin for a hybrid bicycle. 
If you are a bicycle enthusiast you may know that this bike originally had a derailleur system called Shimano positron, but we had to replace this system as the old one had many faults and getting hold of the parts was very difficult. So we decided to install a modern style derailleur, this works very well. 
The frame is a Reynolds 500. We have replaced many components such as:
.Both wheel spindles 
.A new shifter and derailleur 
.Chain
.Mudguards
.Both Brake cables
.Gear cable 
.Both brake pad pairs 
This bike mechanically works like new, there are some obvious signs of wear and tear on the frame, which is expected from a used bike.
